Right, so last Saturday, , Balloons, and I went and saw New Moon. I could write out a cohesive review of the experience and the movie, but I believe I'll cop out and provide you all with a summary numbered list instead.

1. There was no large Edward Cullen cut-out at the movie. This was sad, because we therefore weren't able to dress it up in a Hufflepuff scarf and cape, a la MLIA.

2. The previews consisted of one dark vampire movie, and three cheesy love movies. Wonder why.

3. $4.25 may be a ridiculous amount to pay for a bag of Twizzlers. Maybe.

4. There was a group of girls sitting behind us that continually said "OH, My, GOD!" every other time Edward Cullen showed up on screen.

5. Said group of girls reacted in disgust at the first appearance of Jacob Black.

6. I'd wager a guess that this opinion changed later in the movie, when Jake removes his shirt (with a giant grin, giving us a fan service look at his eight pack abs, pecs, etc...) to (supposedly) mop blood off of Bella's face.

7. On that note, there was a large degree of shirtlessness going on in the whole movie.

8. Three scenes of gratuitous kissing: 15 minutes in, 30 minutes in, and 100 minutes in.

9. WEREWOLVES!!!

10. MORE WEREWOLVES!!!

11. EVEN MO- Okay. Enough of that. GIGANTIC MUFFINS!

12. Just like while reading the book, I found most of the movie quite boring, and stuck in it for the action scenes.

13. All three of us were chanting, "Jump, jump, jump!" at a certain point. You can guess where.

14. Is it me, or is every Alice that I've heard of, real or fictional, always simply awesome?

15. I scared the hell out of Balloons as she was walking out of the bathroom after the movie. Yes. That's an accomplishment right there.

16. And I got home just in time to watch the last hour of the Pirates marathon, in which many people are shot, stabbed, blown up and otherwise killed on the high seas.

Yup. On the art front, I've got two sketches in pencil form, and one picture that needs shading. These will be coming up in due time, if AP Expos doesn't kill me first.
